There is someone underneath my bed (2023 - Now)
The project "There is someone underneath my bed" is dedicated to exploring my relationship with my twin brother. During our childhood, we shared a unique connection and spent all our time together. There was minimal physical difference between us. Sometimes, it is even hard to tell who is who in the photos from our family album.
As we aged, we began to drift apart. Each of us has developed a separate life. We are losing our visual similarity, and in about 10 years, we will become just brothers who look alike.
In this project, I attempt to capture this transitional moment when we still appear identical in photographs. I ponder mature relationships between twins. I question whether we can halt the distancing in our relationship and once again feel the closeness that existed between us in childhood.
